As of July 2021 there were 1,534,008 agents. ONE POINT FIVE MILLION AGENTS.

So, the chances of you knowing an agent or 13… are HIGH. I’ll bet you know at least 5 agents you can name off the top of your head and more that you’d know if you thought about it. But, with that many agents it makes you wonder how many are actually selling homes. How many sell homes effectively and at top dollar? How many agents PERFORM. How many know what they're doing? Do the agents you know do this here and there, or do the agents you know do this for a living and give it everything they have?

The average agent sells 10 homes in a year. TEN. That isn’t even one a month! The median income for agents is $33,800 (Buffini statistics from 2020.) That’s barely enough to live off of, so that has to mean average agents do this part time.

Here’s the thing though, I am NOT YOUR AVERAGE AGENT. In my first calendar year I closed more than the average agent, second I closed double, this year is still going strong and I closed 7 this month… I’m not telling you this to brag. I’m telling you this to show you. I am NOT the average agent. I am dedicated to helping you purchase a home. I LOVE what I do and I do it because I love it. Bonus is that I get paid to do what I love.

When you go to list a home or are looking into purchasing a home, it would be safe to say you want someone EXPERIENCED. You want someone who will negotiate and fight for every penny like their own. You would want someone to advise you in ways that HELP you to get the best outcome, would you not? So, when you go to interview an agent, ASK them if they do it full time or part time. ASK them how many homes they sell. We all start somewhere, but if they’ve been at this 3 years and have sold 10 homes… do you think they can best represent you?
